None of the beer I drink requires chewing of any kind. It's a lack of flavor I despise and was referring to, not a texture.

I don't believe anyone asked you to apologize either. If you prefer to drink beer that tastes like water with a shot of real beer mixed in to it for a mild bit of flavor and color, fine, drink your beer-touched water all you want. Keep buying the CostCo sized bottle of cheap aspirin too. It's good to be prepared. :wink2:

Like I said in another thread about beer....

If they made water that got you drunk, I'd drink that. I prefer liquor anyway, but if I'm drinking beer, it's to get drunk. If I want flavor, I'll stick to Coca-Cola. :biggrin:

Eh, it is kind of amusing to see who will win the battle of "What if you could spend whatever you wanted on Advertising."

The ads are amusing... which is important... it diverts you from the boringness of that "genre" that is "American Light Lager."

I think we all know what the product is.... but the ads are a part of Americana as the beer... maybe more.

I know, through a mutual friend, a guy who was on the team that put together Bud's Frog/Lizard campaign.... trust me... doesn't matter what quality of product it is (If it was that damned good, it would sell itself)... its a good gid if you can get it... well if you like hanging out with certified whackos all day.

Its just like Pepsi and Coke though... and... I know the nitpickers among you will tell me that I'm glossing over important differences.... but... with Pepsi and Coke, Bud Lite and Miller Lite... your selling all but exactly the same product in a different wrapper... so... this is what you're left with... Clydesdales and ExJocks telling us its less filling or tastes great... so... I think its amusing.

Every single A-B product gives me a headache for some reason. If I'm going for quantity and not quality (which is most of the time) then I drink Miller Lite.

As for the commercials. I don't think that A-B will respond either, and as long as the beer commercials are funny I'll be happy.

  • Busch Light, Busch Ice
  • Miller Highlife
  • Natty Light, Ice, and whatever else they make
  • Michelob Ultra
  • IceHouse (My buddies dig Icehouse and sure the alc. content is high but fuck that shit hand me a XXX)
  • Old Milwaukee Light
  • Coors
  • Milwaukees Best
  • Bud Ice
  • Miller Chill

Honestly, I actually prefer Mt. Dew to any other soda most of the time. I just wrote in Coke 'cause it's the first one that popped in my head.
