Dude yours are GREEN I know that! They aren't 'dark green'; they are GREEN! If the ones on the helmets were as green as yours we'd KNOW and not be discussing this! I'm telling you, the one you have in your photo is NOT the same as the ones they put on the helmets. And to respond to another post, YES it is possible they made them a different color from 12 yrs ago. BUT they are DEFINITELY NOT identical to your GREEN one! Like I've said before I'll have to see them for myself before I agree they are 'dark green' over BLACK!

Like Thump, I too emailed Rob Lachey about 4 days ago. Nothing yet. But I did receive this email REPLY from someone we all know:

Yeah I know leaves are green. May be your photo is just not "color balanced" and looks "greener" than it actually is 'dark green'.

So again, what color are the leaves on the photos I posted from www.coachtressle.com and on my helmet. They are NOT GREEN or DARK GREEN! They're are and have been BLACK. I will have to SEE for myself in person if indeed they are dark green on the current helmets and no longer black like they used to be. It is possible but I have to see it to believe it. I've always known them to be black (except obviously when Archie played) and never cared to look if they were anything but black until this thread was started.

I just ordered two sheets. I'll show them to you when we go to The Shack again so you can pay up. We can go on a Thursday night for $2 hefes to keep it easy on your wallet. :slappy:

I just remembered that I put a couple of helmet stickers (from hangonsloopy) on my bike helmet, and so I took a photo:

Looks pretty green to me. And to prove I got it from hangonsloopy--and thus be "official"--I'll bring the bike helmet with me when I bring the stickers I just ordered, so that you can see they are one and the same.

Those free hefes and grinds are going to taste sooooo ono, brah...

That is NOT a definitive "green". We'll have to see in person. AND when your ass makes it to Cbus for the Michigan game and we settle the wager for good in the EQ at the WHAC I'll enjoy a nice steak at Mitchell's Steak house!
