I gave my helmet to be auctioned for charity (I wonder where it is?) after the season, so I haven't seen it in since 1980:( . And for the life of me I couldn't tell you what color the leaves were. Man, deteriorating vision, memory and knees that hurt. I'm in trouble!

Got my "official" helmet stickers in the mail yesterday, and they are green (I'm showing them to HAYN tomorrow night).

the football card company Sage, has a line caled "aspire school spirit". In each pack you get one school spirit item (authentic rose bowl ticket, reggie bush eye black stickers or school pride stickers.)
anywho...i have seen carpenter and youboty pride sticker cards. they claim these are authentic pride stickers taken from the helmets...

Nice find .... buuuuuuuuut ... how is the background on that sticker clear when ALL game photos of the stickers have a white background. Keepin the controversy ALIVE!

i have a helmet and i always took them as black, im only 15 and did pretty good on my last vision test at my last physical, so i think my vision is pretty good right now.
im looking at pics everywhere right now.
they are definitely black from what i see.

They stickers look black to me. Maybe its the contrast on my screen or something, but they still look black. Hmm...either way, they are totally sweet.

All of the stickers Youboty and Carp recieved had white backgrounds, not see through. I doubt this is really one of the helmet, but they may have purchased them from the university.
They are GREEN no matter what color the background.

Hmm, its now late at night and the stickers look green. Earlier i said black, but that was in the afternoon. Possible lighting could have made my eyes see a different color? No idea...
Im going with the theory that some players have green ones, some have black ones.
