Heisman 2011 vBet and discussion

you must be surfing the net using a mirror then, bro. Good luck to ya. Feel free to add something to the heisman discussion any time now.

I'll be curious to see what Matt Barkley can do out at USC. Even with that assclown coach there, he's got some potential. Has a player ever won a Heisman while playing for a team on probation?

Fuck Matt Barkley.

Weeden has a pretty good shot, assuming his defense can figure out a way to slow down their opponents. He'll be throwing to Justin Blackmon, who is just a ridiculous freak of an athlete, and he should once again be in the upper tier of QBs.

why isn't Jordan Jefferson/Jarrett Lee on the list?

I would vote for this if they both went to NY and accepted the award together. Almost like siamese twins. One using his right arm and one using his left to hoist the trophy. Think about the presentation they could create for it too.

Hasn't been much discussion on this, and probably for good reason since nobody seems to have seperated themselves from the pack. It was probably Andrew Luck's trophy to lose until Stanford's collapse against Oregon at home, but he even still might be the front runner.

As a Virginia Tech student, I have to wonder why the hell David Wilson hasn't even been listed as a top 10 candidate for the Heisman, even up to this point. He leads the nation in rushing, averages 6.5 yards per carry, and has made tons of ridiculously athletic plays this year. He has carried Virginia Tech's offense this year when Logan Thomas struggled, and is a huge reason why Virginia Tech is ranked #8 right now.

I'm not trying to be a homer and say that he should win, but it's ridiculous that he's not even being considered, especially with this weak crop of candidates this year.

Aaron Murray:

Yards - 2284
Cmpl % - 61.3
TD - 28
INT - 8
Rating - 158.2

Andrew Luck:

Yards - 2695
Cmpl % - 70.6
TD - 29
INT - 7
Rating - 169

Probably a little early for any Aaron Murray chatter for the Heisman, but next year he should be in the discussion if my Dawgs continue to play well.
