Heat-Mavs 2011 NBA Finals

Dirk, on the other hand, has to be getting close to some record.

174-184 FTs (94.5 %). That is an absurd percentage with the number of attempts, and 7 of those misses were in the first round (56-63). 118 for his last 121.

Guy is one of the best of all-time.

The way he is playing is why I think Dallas has better that a punchers chance. He is on a mission.

What a hell of a game. I love how everybody on Dallas stepped up big tonight, even J.J. Barea made a big impact when the last few games he couldn't make an open layup. After Miami made that run late in the 4th (9 or 10 unanswered, can't remember which), I was thinking they were going to take it but Dallas answered like champions. To Jason Terry's credit, he also has stepped up big time in the clutch. Maybe he actually will earn the right to have that Larry O'Brien tattoo on his arm.

JJ Barea and Jason Terry had the NBA Finals game of their lives tonight. The best part, I was getting paid to watch the game! :groove3:

this series is over. Dallas is just a more complete team, plain and simple. Miami seems to lack any type of killer attitude. Congrats to Dirk and crew.

With all due respect, you grew up in Ohio and chose to root for Michigan so I think I'll let the series play out before congratulating a winner. :wink2:

I hope this works as well as BM80's reverse mojo BS in the Red Wings threads.

I'd say it's even money right now. I think Miami has at least a 60% chance of winning on Sunday, and if they win that, their odds in game 7 go up to 75 or 80%.

If Wade's hip is seriously bothering him on Sunday, though, I like the Mavs chances.
