A man caused disgust and uproar on Chinese social media after allegedly being caught putting semen into a woman’s drink.

Word about the man’s tampering began circulating on June 30 after several users posted about it online. The incident allegedly occurred inside a laboratory at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, a division of the state-run Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

The revelation reportedly came after some students installed a security camera to investigate why there were “dirty things” in their cups. The cups also appeared to have been moved when they were not around.

The camera caught the man putting semen into the students’ drinks. Chinese news outlets did not specify whether he was masturbating in the lab, only that he was caught “in the process of the crime.”

In a statement on July 1, Liu Wen, the institute’s deputy director, said the matter is now under investigation and is being “seriously handled.” By Monday, the man was administratively detained by Shanghai police for “picking quarrels” and “provoking trouble,” according to reports.

This is not the first time a man has made headlines in China for putting semen into a woman’s drink. In 2014, a Zhejiang employee repeatedly “injected” semen into his colleague’s drink, resulting in a three-day detention.

Weibo users commented on the latest scandal:

“This is so perverted.”

“Confiscate the crime tools.”

“If he has a venereal disease, his semen will be contagious.”

“Academic qualifications do not represent moral character.”

“No matter how decent the profession or highly educated a person is, there will be this kind of flaw.”

Sheriff's deputies respond after monkey calls 911

90

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office says a monkey is responsible for a disconnected 911 call on Saturday night.

Sheriff's officials say deputies were sent to investigate the dropped call after dispatchers tried to call and text back the number but received no response.

The address turned out to be the Zoo to You facility in Paso Robles.

Sheriff's officials say none of the people there made the 911 call, but they soon identified the culprit -- "Route," the Capuchin monkey.

They say the very inquisitive Route apparently took the zoo's cell phone from the zoo's golf cart and started pushing buttons, resulting in the 911 call.

Kelsey Golden's 2-year-old son Barrett used her phone while she was working to order 31 cheeseburgers on DoorDash.
mercy. so much to unpack

her kid isn't even interested in playing games cuz he's obsessed with the view of himself on the screen before he masters pooping.

We order so much door dash that it's done instead of packing or school lunches

she ordered so much doordash that she has no idea which orders happening at what time

she's going out of her way to share every possible detail about this including how much she tipped the person

My insatiable opposition to door dash is one of the main reasons I object to being labelled a millennial. I've never understood how laziness ever outranks eating far better with the same amount of money. If somebody wants to give me a $2 burger and I pay $5 a month then fine. But I could never imagine wildly overpaying from McDonald's when I could drive up and pick up a gourmet burger at an actual restaurant for the same total price. and that's without getting into the random people touching and probably eating my fries.

Preach it! I used it one time at home when we had a gift certificate and the food was barely edible. Lukewarm burger with tepid vegetables on it and soggy fries on the side. I will not pay to have food delivered. Not even pizza.

I would at least consider it when I'm at the office during busy season -- my time is worth a lot more revenue than the cost of having it delivered. But I usually pick it up anyways just to get away from the stupid place for a couple minutes.

What the millennials don't understand is being the guy that goes out and grabs the food is a "good thing". A little time in the car to yourself ....

And having been in the restaurant business in my past, I hate how these delivery options cut into their profits.:mad1:
I about threw the remote through the TV at the pro business claim from the door dash commercial.
