Yep.

The title of Wolverine Killer is bestowed on only a select few and it’s the Medal of Honor in our little world.

Tressel, Troy Smith, Meyer and JT Barrett. Those two QB’s never won a NC as a starter and I couldn’t care less.

A very large portion if not majority of the fan base either wanted Day gone or didn't argue with those who did because 4 of his 10 total losses in 6 years were to tsun.

I was born in '79. We have ended far more seasons without a NC than a victory in The Game. Coop wasn't fired for losing citrus bowls.

I'm trying to wrap my head around people thinking natties are more important. This is the 3rd title of my life. While great, it is a distant 3rd for me. Every win in The Game felt better than this title.

I don't disagree with this, although if he was beating Michigan & winning the Big Ten but not winning any titles we would be discussing the same old crap "can he get over the hump" and "whenever they play a team of equal talent they can't win" or "easy to beat up on sisters of the poor" etc. I would not be wanting a lifetime contract personally just because you're beating retard harbaugh but agree with you 100% if he was beating those douchebags he would not have near the heat. Hell, just beating them this year would take all the heat off and we were double digit favorites.

Saying JT Barrett didn't win a championship is wrong. He was up on that stage next to Cardale and Braxton Miller & was a big reason we were in the playoffs/B1G title game. I am sure Troy is very proud of his record against Michigan but I bet he also wishes he had that '06 title game back.

No one is whining. It's insane to me that someone calls themselves a Buckeye and wants to beat Tennessee and Notre Dame more than tsun. I think you're lying to yourselves but that's not my problem.

Honest question for all heretics:

If we won the Natty every other year for the next decade, but lost to tsun every season. How many would it take for you to want Day replaced?

cmon now. I don't know which side of this argument I'm on yet, but nobody cares about Tenn and ND. Whoever is in the way once you're in the playoffs makes it the most important game of the season. After the game it's not "I'm so stoked we beat Tenn," it's "I'm so stoked we're still alive for a title."

Then what does a national title mean? You beat individual teams on your way. Make it best of 7 against tsun and the NC will be the most important thing in my sporting life. Otherwise it's just some big games in a row

I'll tell you why it matters. It matters because yesterday at a Total Wine in Atlanta, GA a dickhead dad-bro came bebopping into the store wearing shorts and a 2024 tcun Natty sweatshirt yapping through earbuds and I couldn't say anything to him about it despite our just winning 2025 because we lost AGAIN to those skunkweasel knobs.

If we somehow have to play all of the MAC and they give us a title for it, by all fuckin means, man. Once they say "Win x amount of games and you're crowned champ" that's the goal. If that first team is SW Missouri St, then winning that game is the focus......not beating that team, winning that game.

I'm intentionally avoiding saying which is more important. But you can't pick the team out of the first round and pretend Ohio State fans are now saying beating Tennessee is the same or more important than beating Michigan. Nobody is saying that.
