However, it’s also possible that we would not have won one or both of the championships we did.

Isn’t that where we are today?Acceptance of a behavior which has previously been condemned leads to changes in societal norms. We have all seen this in our lifetime. Will there always be people who act contrary to societal norms? Absolutely. Will there be more people gravitate towards what we currently consider bad if it is normalized? Absolutely. We have all seen it happen.
Evil should be called out, not accepted.
Are we? Serious question.Isn’t that where we are today?
That's a lot of words to not answer what the so called conspiracy wasOhio State's Ryan Day has conspiracy theory about CFP officials and proof to back claims
Ohio State coach Ryan Day is mad about officiating and the SEC referees for the College Football Playoff title game. He has 728 plays to back him up.sports.yahoo.com
Just thinking that's what we're going to have to hope forOne thing I've noticed through the playoff run is that there hasn't been much mention of the "fans" in interviews from the team. Granted, I've not listened to every single one for the last month, but a lot of what I've read is "playing for coach, playing for the team" etc. I remember maybe one Buckeye Nation dropped in somewhere. Not that they need or even should be talking about the fans, but I found it interesting. The group has referenced the negative comments a lot. I understand why.
Regardless, I've always respected Day, thought he was a good coach but haven't been very vocal about it. There have definitely been some things to critique as well. If he somehow pulls this off, wins it all on Monday, then leaves, I don't blame him. Probably might respect him even more.
So you want to see a coach who wins Nattys, has the best winning % in college football ( better than Urban and Tressel BTW) gone because of his record in a game that has realistically lost it's meaning and importance? I think you are in the minority.Just thinking that's what we're going to have to hope for
I get that you can never complain about winning tonight, but it doesn't erase his record against scUM. Obviously now he's unfireable, or at least for a while. Good news is at least there's legit reasons now for an NFL team to give him a job opportunity, which would be the best outcome for him to leave on.
