HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

I will say this, I'm close to jumping off the Day bandwagon. I'm slow to anger, but when I'm get there, I'll choke you with my bare hands (metaphorically).

I started to become worried not long after Day took the job. Someone compared Day to Meyer - Meyer lived and breathed the job while Day left the work at the office. I was very afraid that attitude would not be good enough for this level. Then, a couple of years ago I read that Hairball had begun practicing for OSU after every practice before every game. That is the kind of dedication it takes to win The Game. Day may not have it.
I am with you on this. The QB development and line play this year has been so disappointing. I think if he doesn't hire a co-offensive coordinator I think I will be off the bandwagon. After Alabama's last play they might be looking for a new OC so Day better move fast.

It's fucking moronic is what it is. You fire your coach cause your rival wins a National Championship but don't if he comes up short?

So you fire them if they lost to a better team but keep them if they lost to the worse team? That happens to be your rival?

I sure as hell don't want to see TSUN win a championship. I want to see them fall and wander through another repeat of the Richrod years. I want them to fail cause their arrogance cause they are a bunch of cheating fucks who act incredulous you caught them cheating not that they cheat.

But God damn people get a grip. You fire a coach cause he couldn't get it done. You do not fire a coach cause your rival did. If you are of the mind you fire him either way like Jax has been that's fine. If you want to fire him if TSUN got blown out in the Playoffs cause they lost to their rival that wasn't that good also fine. Want to fire him cause you think the trend line for the football team is going the wrong direction go for it. To fire someone cause they lost by 6 arguably at their place with the worst team he's ever had to a national champion but not if they aren't is madness.
I am absolutely of the mind that he should be gone regardless. But it isn't moronic to fire him if scUM wins the NC, because if that happens, get ready for him to lose 3 more to those assholes.

Michigan is going to lose so many players after this year. Plus with the possibilities of sanctions and Harbaugh leaving for the NFL, they won't have much of a team left.

I've finally joined the "JaxBuck Viewpoint".

Every minute we have Day heading up this program is lost. Start the search NOW.

We know what he is and what he's not. The core blindspots are not changing anytime soon.

Depressing because I haven't felt this way in over twenty years. It was a good run, but it over and it's time for someone else .....

Yes it is. Like @BuckeyeNation27 said. You guys are broke.

I get thinking that when you're drunk and angry but thinking that sober is insane.

There are many reasons to potentially fire him. But because TSUN won an NC isn't one of them

So much emotional investment and anger being put into something that is 100% not going to happen. We have a President on his first day on the job and an AD on his way out the door; they're not going to make a change. Day is absolutely on a hot seat next year, but getting worked up about him being fired now is useless.

The new President is going hire either the UW or UCLA AD. They'll discuss where the football program is and set some performance requirements for Day, and then we'll see how next year plays out.

That was the Woody/Bo model adopted by Tressel and Urban. Days model was ScUm just another conference game we need to focus on NC preparation. He had never seen a viable Michigan team in his tenure at OSU. But for some reason arrogance ..he won’t pivot.

I get it. I'm not expecting anything productive to happen. We just get to sit back and piss away another year waiting on Day to fix himself ....
