HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

So are we punshing him for making it three of his first four years?

Tress was 1-2 for NC

Urban made it twice in his seven OSU seasons. It might just be me, but I dont care much about his UF win

Not punishing him for making it.

Punishing him for losing.

In the world I grew up in, losing was bad. Winning was good. Sorry if I am out of touch with modern parameters of success.

I am legitim;y sorry for your family but that's the point. You keep acting like anyone who criticizes this monkey is forgetting how sick the real world is.

No one does that, this is juts football so the perspective checks are a waste of time.

Again, my best wishes for the child. Fuck cancer.
It’s like you are staying in a toxic relationship.

I get it, I sat through the Cooper years.

My roommates and I sat in Ohio Stadium in 1998 after the MSU game without saying a word for 45 minutes until the ushers kicked us out.

I was there for the “Springs slip,” 13-9 loss to tCun. I lost my voice from screaming so loud before the game even started.

I remember asking my buddies if we would ever see a National Championship while we were alive.

Guess what, I’ve been alive for two and I cannot think of any other team with the run of dominance since Cooper until now.

We are SPOILED brats, myself included, but there has been no other team that has been in the National Championship discussion more than OSU over that time period, NO ONE!

Humble pie is a dish best-served cold.

Enjoy the ride.

It could be worse, you could be a Hawkeye fan.

I'm going to back up @Jaxbuck here. He'll be the first to tell you I was screaming Day's praise and wanting him to be our guy. He's an an incredible person and I wanted him to be our guy for a long, long time.

But that's 3 in a row and we should not have lost that game. Or the one before. Everyone knows I love Day and have been jumping to his defense immediately...but he needs fired. I don't give a shit about going undefeated if we can't beat *ichigan. It means absolutely nothing. I would rather have 3 losses but beat *ichigan to be honest.

This is a thank you for your service, but your services are no longer needed post. Promote Hartline, bring back Vrabel, fuck maybe even give Urban a year to figure out the next move. Just do it now, or right after signing day.

It would have been nice to beat scUM this year in their house just to show them that we can go up against their best and they can’t beat us without cheating. IMO this was their best team against our least dangerous team and they barely squeaked it out. tOSU didn't get a benefit from the extra Covid year like lesser programs (scUM and ND) that had players stick around for extra years. Our best players stick around for 3-4 years, not 5-6. How is a team with 40+ seniors and an NCAA death penalty hanging over their heads going to reload for next year? We’ll reload and be top 5 again next year. Let me know the next time TTUN is ranked.

Promoting Hartline would be a disaster in my opinion.

anyone who defends Ryan Day but laughs at James Franklin needs to take a moment to think because they’re the same guy.

I’d like to have an actual debate over that. Ignore his first two seasons. He won conference in 2016. Since then his best season has been equal to Day’s worst.

Is OSU just automatically supposed to be better than PSU? If you say yes, I can give about a dozen counter arguments against that thought process.

Day could be Tress. He also could be Cooper. Anyone who says they know the answer, including me, is full of shit.

But comparing him to Franklin at this point is an insult IMO.

Day is undoubtably > Franklin.

Day is also undoubtably < Tress or Urban

It's not even a question
