Hats off to Coach Day. I don't know what he said/did at halftime, but what looked like a season-ending disaster turned into a dramatic come-from-behind win.
Now get to work on fixing the defense, please.
His D is bad but unlike a lot of Big XII coaches he gives a shit. It legit bothers him his D is bad.
OL is the very definition of this gif this year.He needs to also be a little mad at his OL coach if that's what it takes to get more out of that area.
Generally amazing pass blocking but also generally abysmal in the run.
Never lacked so much confidence in an OL on 3rd/4th and 1.
So the people who knocked him for several weeks because of The Game still think he's soft and want him replaced?
Not saying all of those views were on this site, but saw that sentiment on social media and other sites
I didn't see anyone say fire Day right now.
I had some serious questions, and some of them remain unanswered until we see the results next year but make no mistake, his team was showing signs of being soft. At least mentally, right up to and including the Rose Bowl.
The half time, let-them-fight-their-own-fight moment appears to be a huge step in the right direction. At least I hope it is.
I want Day to be the best HC we've ever had but no one is above reproach/criticism/questioning. Especially a guy 3 years into a new job of this magnitude.
Please tell us, oh lickers of windows and seekers of baseballs, was yesterday’s game a, “Born on third base” kind of win?
Just sayin’
To be fair
