How excited he got on that last JSN touchdown catch was amazing. "What a fucking throw, holy shit he caught it!" A few more f bombs added I think as well.

In his interview, the bags under his eyes. How could you sleep with Buckeye Nation breathing down your neck and the torch and pitchfork crowd coming for you? It doesn't look like it's easy at all. Most of the criticism has legs but he's making changes. He might have to clean house on the defense after that performance today but we'll see. He deserves a hell of a lot of credit for getting those boys to keep it together and come all the way back tonight and perform the way they did in the second half.

Something tells me he's going to take stock in the next month and finally fully understand just what it all means. It's easy when you're winning every game but the test is when things go bad. Love to see him be a legend

Generally amazing pass blocking but also generally abysmal in the run.

Never lacked so much confidence in an OL on 3rd/4th and 1.

I really wish he'd install a short yardage offense, like Oklahoma State showed a spread team can do today. Shotgun handoffs on 3rd or 4th and 1 drive me mad.

Install a package with the QB under center and a fullback. It's not splitting the atom, it's basic football. Practice it.

But for now I'm just going to enjoy winning the Rose Bowl.

Great momentum for next year.
One thing the must be addressed and hasn’t been spoken much about - we have to find a way to keep players on the field.

The 20+ players out every game has to stop.
Not sure if Covid had any impact this year.
The amount of injuries, mysterious absences, attitude issues has to be addressed.

You never knew who was going to be on the unavailable list.

Even Marotti is not above reproach.

So the people who knocked him for several weeks because of The Game still think he's soft and want him replaced? :roll1:
Not saying all of those views were on this site, but saw that sentiment on social media and other sites

I didn't see anyone say fire Day right now.

I had some serious questions, and some of them remain unanswered until we see the results next year but make no mistake, his team was showing signs of being soft. At least mentally, right up to and including the Rose Bowl.

The half time, let-them-fight-their-own-fight moment appears to be a huge step in the right direction. At least I hope it is.

I want Day to be the best HC we've ever had but no one is above reproach/criticism/questioning. Especially a guy 3 years into a new job of this magnitude.

I agree for accountability, but fans tend to have a knee jerk reaction when things don't go as they planned.
And I've seen plenty of people call for Day's job the past 4wks. Just like I saw fans call for Stroud's job after the 1st few games of the season and want McCord or Ewers inserted.
Many on BP have been critical but realistic, but fan is short for fanatic for a reason. But there are still a segment(which is true about every fan base) who expect to win every single game by multiple TDs, and if they don't then someone needs to be fired or someone benched immediately.

Please tell us, oh lickers of windows and seekers of baseballs, was yesterday’s game a, “Born on third base” kind of win?

Just sayin’

To be fair

It was not, and TSUN's loss in the Orange Bowl made Harbaugh look like a player who hit a double, but got thrown out at first base.
