Urban Meyer says that he has not heard from the Big Ten regarding additional discipline for Marcus Hall and Dontre Wilson.

My two cents on the whole thing; if you watch when Wilson finally gets up and is completely surrounded upright it seems pretty clear that all the scUM players were grabbing at the helmet straps/chin strap to get them undone/loose. They're all grabbing at the side of his helmet at those connection points to get his helmet off. I'm surprised that 52 threw the helmet away instead of using it as a battering ram, since the intent was to get his helmet off for clear shots.

Not only being surrounded, there definitely a lot of jawing, but scUM #34 threw the first punch and then Dontre got swallowed up. I don't see how #34 got missed and not disciplined for that. That really pisses me off.

Re-watching this a few times it is clear that this was premeditated. IF the B1G officials review the film and cannot see that about 7 scUM players surrounded and then accosted Dontre Wilson as soon as he got up, they are blind and/or involved in a cover up. This was FLAGRANT and INTENTIONAL. And its not even questionable. At first I thought Wilson was wrong in what he did. After reviewing the footage he was justified in defending himself. My apologies to Dontre.

100% agreed. I too have been watching this several times. Dontre is surrounded. He crawls/scoots away and is surrounded again. Thru the first 14 seconds, there are always way more sCUM folk around. The refs are incapable of controlling the situation.

The only point of reference I have is the videos of the Minnesota/OSU basketball game in 1972, which though more severe, is the only other time I have seen flagrant malice.

NCAA rules have doled out the punishment already. At most Hall can be suspended for the 1st half of the CCG (per NCAA rules)

Honestly, if any more punishment is necessary, I think the worst thing that can be done to them, is they don't get gold pants for their actions.
