Well, folks... please tell me that less than 99% of the BP population has done this (driving while under the influence). I guess even once counts as a yes.

Well I am taking a different tack on answering the question -NO

That does not mean I was not foolish enough to drink and drive before in my (much) younger days. I gave it up as foolish and stupid well before I did any damage to myself, or anyone I knew or did not know.

If you want a YES answer I'm going to force you to re-phrase the question :biggrin:

But, I Do NOT Drink & Drive.

Not any more. I learned my lesson a long time ago. And thus I'm now able to identify my past behavior as stupid, as well as the behavior of those who answer yes to this question, without being hypoctitical.

I had 3 beers and drove on St. Patty's day twice (once for the OSU game, again later that night). I guess that counts so I said yes. Now if the question is do I get sloppy drunk and drive then no. If I'm going to drive I don't drink enough to be over the legal limit. This webpage says that 10 drinks in 4 hours puts me right at the .08 and I never drink that much and drive. If the question is do you ever drive after having even a single drink I think we have a lot of liars.

Do I drink and drive? No. But that's not to say I never have. In my younger (and much more idiotic) days there were a couple days I should have gotten a DUI. Having grown up (slightly) and lost much of my invincibility complex, I now see how ridiculously stupid and irresponsible it is. I'm very thankful I never hurt anyone.
