You couldn't sit down, think about the easy possibility of a team kicking 3 FGs and the other team only scoring 1 TD? That doesn't seem like a normal occurrence to you?I only asked this after doing some research (Wikipedia and Google), hoping that I'd actually get an answer. I'm not a football buff (I've only been a huge football fan since 2005, before 2005 I actually didn't even know some basic football terminology and rules), so the question may have seemed stupid to all of you, who probably learned all about football and its history growing up, but to me it was a legitimate question. You're talking to a guy who before a couple years ago didn't even know what a two-point conversion was.

It's like asking if anybody has ever walked down the street and seen 2 cars that were the same color. I don't know much about the history of painting cars, but I can assume the answer is "probably several times a year".

Logically, if I hadn't thought of the possibility of it existing in college football, I wouldn't have thought to ask. And the reason I asked is because I've NEVER actually seen it happen in college football.
When you're finished with that first edition of Proust can I have it back?PennState1985;1018469; said:If I wouldn't have thought about the possibility, I wouldn't have asked this "stupid" question in the first place. PennState1985;1018480; said:Do you actually read these responses, or just notice that I replied and think "Yes! Another opportunity to flame the stupid Penn State fan!"? The question asks IF it happened. If I thought it had never happened, I wouldn't have asked the question in the first place.
