I agree totally. The whole game felt like you were being led somewhere, and in the end, you never seem to get there. The whole campaign on this game left something to be desired compared to Halo 1.

Yeah, no way there were 2 hours of it. So hopefully that's suggestive that maybe Halo 3 might be a launch title.

I did come away from this feeling a little less fulfilled than I did in the first one. Not a knock on the game, just don't really feel like there was the normal partial closure at the end. In fact, I was totally shocked when the credits ran, as I didn't even slightly expect that to be the end. Just seemed like any of the rest of the missions. Hard to describe since I don't want to give anything about the game away.

To both of you: I say screw the campaign, I cold care less abotu that. Multiplayer is where it's all at!

Anyone notice the celebrity voices in the campaign? David Cross, Laura Prepon, Robert Davi, Keith David, and Orlando Jones were some I recognized. There are many other celebrities that lent their voices.

I didn't untill I watched the DVD, ALOT of famous people on it.

I just beat the game on Heroic and was very surprised that the game was over as well. It doesn't seem to be a good stopping point for the storyline. Hopefully Halo 3 will be out soon. I haven't had a chance to play online because I need to get a wireless hookup for my basement. How is the game online?

Halo 2 on Xbox Live is awesome. I don't spend hours on end playing video games, so for me, playing on Live is better with friends rather than playing with random players. It can be fun with two players, but it really picks up with three or more. I highly recommend it.

Since my parents got cable Internet shortly after Christmas my brother hasn't done anything beside go to school and play Halo 2 on Xbox Live. At first my mom was pissed about having to pay for the cable Internet, but not having to put up with my brother's teenage bullshit anymore makes it priceless.

i tell you what, i think i missed the whole Halo bandwagon, but Halo (1 or 2) doesnt kiss the feet of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas . But in all fairness, i never really got a lot of time to play Halo much and give it a chance, and ive really only played multiplayer versus mode and then once i played the 2 player story mode on Halo 2. I guess i never really got good at it, i guess because i dont have an xbox to play, so that doesnt help.

The whole beauty of Halo 2 is the X-box live play. Anybody with X-box live send me your gamertag name in a private message.
Or you could just put your cursor over the XBox icons above posts to read the gamertags of forum members. If you would like to have your gamertag added to your posts, then just post your gamertag in the thread about them, and it will be added to your posts as well.

If one of you guys wants to be a guaranteed billionaire... Do a Halo II-type version of lawschool's Contracts or Torts classes... My son insists he spends more time on the books that Halo II... but somehow I don't buy it...

When he was home for Christmas break, he brought his addiction... Heard him say he was a 13 or 14 ?!?!? He said the only person he won't play one-on-one is T4? or T7 or T-11? some 11-yr old kid from Michigan that he says is All-World...

But my oldest really is a great kid... he let his little brother (my 7th grader) use his acct... and by the time he went back to Ohio 'he' was an 8 or a 7 ... and laughed about it... ya gotta love that kind of brotherly bond...

My brother was a 12 last weekend when I went home. He used to practice on Halo 1 1 on 3 with his buddies. The three of them would be lucky to kill him once. He likes to go into the newbie training grounds on Halo 2 and bitch slap everyone.
