Okay. I didn't put this in the gaming forum because not everyone reads the nerdgasm going on in there.

Here is the idea. Design and name your own Guitar Hero game. Five stages, each containing four songs, an Encore, and a battle.

Make it all fit a theme. Not necessarily GH:GNR (but you could), but try something new. GH: DISCO , GH: Death Metal , GH: Barry Manilow and Friends

Whatever blows your skirt up.

GUITAR HERO: METALLICA

Kill
  1. Ace of Spades - Motorhead
  2. Hit The Lights
  3. Am I Evil? - Diamond Head
  4. Seek and Destroy
  5. Encore - Jump in The Fire
  6. Battle - Dave Mustaine

Ride

Master
  1. Battery

I've never played the game so maybe my perceptions of it are off, but it looks like a glorified version of air guitar. I don't get the fascination with it. :confused:

Guitar Hero: Decades

Now this is going to be generic, but you'll get the point. I say have 6 or 7 songs from each decade, starting with the 50's or 60's and up. That way nobody could really complain about "they keep putting all that new crap on" or vice versa.

Myself, I would have Guitar Hero: MJK Edition. Music from Tool, APC, etc :)

Sorry, but this fits better in the gaming forum. Had this been an entertaining story about a GH player suing for carpal tunnel syndrome, then it would be more of a general forum posting. But since it's really about the game itself, and thinking of new/different iterations that could be made, I think it's best served being in the gaming forum.

For marketing purposes you might want to call it Guitar Hero:Lillith Fair edition. It will mean the same thing but won't piss off as many people. :biggrin:
