It started off as a fan vote between all 128 FBS team. The list was cut to 16 teams then to 8. (Also decided by fan votes)

The final 8 teams were:

1. Alabama

2. Texas A&M

3. Michigan

4. Ohio State

5. Oregon

6. Notre Dame

7. Georgia

8. Florida State

At some point, players got assigned to the team finalists. I believe EA Sports made the call. John Simon was Ohio State's player, which makes sense. Robinson, despite his issues, is the biggest name player on scUM. He was the only scUM player even invited to the combine. He was basically the only choice. Swopes is an odd choice but he is a senior. A&M's more high profile players were underclassman. Obviously, you can't have an underclassman on the cover, as the NCAA wouldn't take kindly to that.

The list of 8 was cut to 2 by yet another fan vote, and that's were we are: Swopes or Robinson. scUM or A&M. Easy call for me.

The point is to deny scUM from having anything, however small, to be happy about..

If the fans of the "mighty" M*ch*g*n football program need to point to a video game cover for pride, let them. It will just show everyone else who they are and how far they have fallen.

How do we know that Swopes is not a jar jizzer? We can't have a jar jizzer on the cover. What kind of message would that send to the youth of America?

This too....

I will say that at least these guys signed up and had the balls to post here. that's more than we can say for any scUM fans, right?
