I stand with Muck on this one. Aggy transcends normal rivalry bullshit. Aggy is a deeply disturbing cult.

I will always remember the Embassy Christmas party before the 99 Sugar Bowl. The middle aged Marine Sergeant who commanded the embassy security detail came up to me and wished Ohio State luck. I asked him if he was from Ohio or had any Ohio State connections. His response was a grunted, "No, it's just that I hate Texas A&M. That god damned school sends me the worst officers in the corps." Then, he turned and walked away.

I am no friend of Aggie. Aggie will only get worse if they can maintain any success. I understand the hate for the buzz-cut core guys as well as the their many wanna-be clones.

However, I know a few Aggies that I would classify as good people. I can't say I've ever met a scUM grad I could say the same about. I hate Penn State, Wisconsin, Notre, Dame, USC, Cryami, the list goes on and on. My hatred of sCUM will always be greater than all the hate for the others combined. In my opinion, to hate anyone else more is disrespecting the greatest rivalry in sports.

It's not just the Marines who get bad ones from A&M. The Army gets them as well. Out of the 5 that I know 4 will be lucky if they aren't shot by there own men.

A&M regent wants to renew Texas rivalry to give Aggies a ‘cupcake’ game

“I am going to advocate that the Aggies play Texas again in the near future,” a posting to the Facebook page, by way of the Dallas Morning News, of A&M regent Tony Buzbee began. “Because of our brutal SEC West schedule, where we play the likes of Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, etc., the Aggies need some cupcake games to rest and heal. In my view, Texas is just as weak if not weaker than the non-conference games we play, so we may as well play them.”
