GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Defensive tackle Justin Harrell, the Packers' No. 1 draft pick in 2007, will miss all of the organized team activities while he recovers from minor back surgery.

Harrell said Wednesday after the team's third OTA and second practice that he hurt himself lifting weights and had outpatient surgery to correct a disk problem a little over a month ago.

He hopes to be ready for training camp.

Harris and Woodson are absent; Grant doesn't practice; Harrell had back surgery.

Aaron Rodgers public unveiling as the Green Bay Packers? new starting quarterback took place in the Don Hutson Center on Wednesday, where the team held its first open session of organized team activities.
The practice was supposed to be held outdoors and be open to the public. Instead, even on a sunny though breezy day, practice was held inside ? in which case, practice is generally closed to the public ? but the team let fans inside along a portion of the east sideline....

Appearing on Jim Rome?s nationally syndicated radio program on Friday, new Packers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers again bristled at the suggestion he?s been brittle. ?The most frustrating thing is the connotation with the phrase ?being injury prone,?? Rodgers told guest host Grant Napear, echoing what he said when he met with the media after an organized team activities practice on Wednesday.
