I went to Hanrattys a couple times. It is older... don't they sell a bunch of OSU Alumni stuff there from a fold up table? It wasn't too convienent for me when I lived out there.

that's how they raise all the money. they do a ton of raffles and whatnot. it is a wonderful environment, i'm just curious why the younger alumni don't go there.

I found McGee's to be a little too much of a zoo for me personally, but I can understand how some get into it.

They're going to use Maeve (a great neighborhood bar north of Depaul) as a secondary bar this year, so that makes me very happy.

Also, though it's not an "official" alumni club bar, The Gaslight is a great comfortable bar with some of the best bar food in town.
