SIMV Saturday I'll take you over to Oakhurst and we'll get a few buckets of balls and have Wood show you how to hit a ball. He turned my swing around big time on sunday when we played out there. I actually started to hit my drives straight and he helped me on my aim (which was my biggest problem)

That looks like a good choice if we play on a weekend sometime. Anyone played there?
they have two courses there. One is an executive type course (probably the cheap one) one is a regular par 72 course. They are usually pretty well maintained, but they get a lot of play. It is slow getting around there, and busy on the weekends. I am guessing that that price on the link does not include a cart.

You may want to check into something...

A friend of mine told me at Chapel Hill they have a special at certain times, but I'm not sure when. He said it was like $42 for all the golf, beer, and food you can take in a day. It may be worth your time.

I've never played out there but have heard that it's a decent course. Other than that no clue. I'm still thinking that chapel hill is the way to go $20.00with a cart is pretty good. We don't want to play somewhere to nice it'll be to evident that SIMV was there....

They do have that special, I think you just add 16-18 or so onto whatever your green fee is to do it. It works out much better if you play earlier in the day, because you can play as much as you want, and you have more time to eat and drink. These guys are not going until 2:00, if you put off lunch until you got there, and drank like a fish, you could probably get your moneys worth. They also have a disclaimer that they can limit or cut off your alcohol at any time.

There are actually a lot of courses within a half hour from Cbus or so where you can play 18 with a cart for $20. I know Raccoon International is one (it's on 161 about 15 minutes east of 270. There are three or four down between Picktown and Lancaster, as well.

Willow Run at 310 and 161 is $19 to ride 18. I think it is a fairly nice course.
