I'm thinking Chapel Hill in Mt. Vernon would be good since it's cheep ($20 for 18 and a cart) and reasonably close to Columbus, Cleveland, and Akron. Anyone who is interested in meeting for an afternoon round (2pm or later) post in here so we can figure out how much interest there is.

45 min to an hour depending where you are in Cbus. I come down from Akron so it takes me an hour and 45 min.
If people are driving down from Cleveland/Akron this may be an option too.
There are two courses just off I 71 in the mansfield area.

Deer Ridge is about 1 minute off the highway at exit 165. Really nice, up in the hills. You can see it from 71 on the east side. I think it costs about 35 bucks during the week. Maybe less in the afternoon.

Pebble Creek- maybe 5 minutes from 71 from the same exit. Not quite as nice, but always in real good shape, and cheap. 22 Bucks. They also have cheap beer, and its never crowded.

They may be a little easier, or shorter to get to from the north, but I am not sure. Its about 40 minutes from the north side of Cbus.

No can do on the 5th but the 19th sounds better... I might actually make it this time around

Oh yeah, besides one in August are we going to have another in September... like September 9th since there should be a ton of people making the trip in the Columbus area might be a great way to start the weekend. But that is just a thought.

Okay... we're all gonna have to agree on a date and I'm open for anything. iamhomo doesn't want to take time off work so it'll have to be on a weekend. You bitches fight amongst yourselves
How about we schedule one for the 19th and schedule another for a weekend sometime. There is no way that everyone will be able to make it at one time so hopefully we can get a bunch of people at each of them.

I'd only be taking a half day. $20 tee times don't start until 2 anyway.
