Is the 19th definite if so I'll schedule it off tommorrow.
It looked like Buck Nasty is the only one who can't make it on the 19th, but it seemed to be the better day for pretty much everyone else. I checked and Chapel Hill doesn't have anything planned on the 19th so we shouldn't have problems getting tee times. I'll call to schedule tee times after we get definite numbers.

Sweet the 19th it is. I should make it unless a miracle happens and my 7th place softball team somehow makes it to the finals of my softball league playoffs (highly doubtful)

The only thing is I will be coming solo so I will need to find a group. The only problem is I don't think I am as good as BuckNasty so I can't fill in for a ringer. But I do shoot in the upper 80s/ lower 90s on bad days.

I can't play on the 19th...without my ringer. Come on, Nasty, WTF? What can be more important than golf?
I will actually be at a convention at the end of that week...... playing golf. Sorry, wish I could do it. On the plus side, I will be playing at a beautiful Country Club, and my work will pay for all of it. :)

I'm not planning on having a foursome. At the most I'll have my dad and a buddy. I figured we would just meet up when we get there and make up some groups. All a ringer does in normal golf is make you feel worse about your game. That was the good thing about my team on Saturday. None of us played great, but as a team we always seemed to have one person make a shot when we needed it.

For the 19th skill isn't important, just getting together to hit some balls. No Thump not like that, Homo.

Here's the list I have so far of people that are interested. Anyone else let me know and I'll add you to the list and also let me know if you are planning on bringing anyone else.

Piney... I may be mistaken but I don't think you'll have to bring a group... I think we're all just showing up and teeing off. Am I wrong hawg? Or are we doing it the same way we did last weekend?
Ahhhh, just a gathering to go golfing... ok. I think I just assumed we would try to do another scramble or some other format like that. Normal golf will work... heck, anything that involves golf and drinking beers is a good thing.

I wouldn't mind setting up another scramble...after the attention this latest one drew, we would probably get more people to play. I, however, am way too lazy to actually try to set it up.
We can play a scramble if people want to or we could even mix and match so some groups could play scramble and others could play best ball so that they could play their own ball the whole day. I'm open on what we do as long as people want to come and play. I don't know if it would be much fun playing with a Buck Nasty type of ringer where none of my shots would be good enough to use unless I'm playing in an outing where I'll win something if we win.

anyone wanna take the time to teach me how to hit a golf ball? I really need some help. iambrutus started to but it's kinda hard to teach someone to play in the middle of an outing.
Check out this:

I'll hang my head in shame and admit that I bought a Medicus, but that club really helped. My biggest problem now is having shitty eye hand coordination. I'm not good by any means, but at least people don't laugh at my swing anymore.
