Great Idea for a thread and rep already awarded!

Horrible Blown call cost the Pirates a game against my Braves!

Worst call? This one cost my Orioles a trip to the Divisionals and is one of the two reasons I stopped watching baseball altogether.

I mean, even having an extra camera or two that's ONLY focused on the goal line would do fine for me. I'm sure the technology they implement will be a little more hi-tech than just using a couple of camera's to determine goals and non goals. And I'm looking forward to the games they have already planned to test the technology in. Definitely a HUGE step in the right direction.

Only issue with just cameras, is there's no play stoppage unless the ball goes out of bounds or a foul

Bernie Carbo called out at home in the 1970 World Series when Elrod Hendricks tagged him with his glove and had the ball in his hand.

The play I'm referring to happened towards the end of this highlight tape. Boom Herron ripped what should have been the longest run in Ohio State history, but the referee called Dane Sanzenbacher for a hold on a text-book downfield block!

Ohio Stadium booed the referees for a good 7 minutes after that call.

Game six of the 2002 NBA Western Conference championship. Cost the Sacramento Kings a trip to the finals. Possibly the worst officiated game in the history of sports. Certainly in the history of the NBA, and even though the NBA officially refutes the claim that the game was fixed it was hard to watch it and not feel like there was something nefarious going on.

Tim Donaghy went to prison. infer what you will.

The worst call of all time might have been in the 1972 Olympic Men's Basketball gold medal game when a ref inexplicably put three seconds on the clock, after the Americans had won the game, allowing the Soviet Union to throw a full court pass under the basket and make a shot as time expired, again, to win the game 51-50. 76er's coach Doug Collins was on that team. The Americans refused to accept their silver medals, and never have to this day.

agree.

SuperBowl LX was a giant shitshow of horrible officiating as well. no one will ever convince me that the fix was not in.

Isn't that also the game the Bucks were repeatedly called for celebration penalties for using their glove designs to form the block O?

Funny how they never called the Ducks for the same thing later on.

Who called that game? Is there a video out there without the annoying highlight video music that I can see? I love hearing the crowd reaction to big runs like that.

Wanna hear the booing too, LOL

8 min mark... They booed during every spare moment, trimmed out of this play.

Should have been the longest run in the history of The Game and a perfect legacy for.l.Rich Rod, a 98 yd run.
