Tell them you need a new phone.

The salesperson will ask you if you watch a lot of sports on your phone.

You'll briefly think to yourself, "Why would I watch sports on my phone? I just bought a 84 inch plasma.... oooh, gotcha."

You'll say, "Yes"

They'll find you an appropriate device and data plan.
