Agreed. I'm still absolutely blown away that Michigan got an at-large over MSU (head-to-head?).

Sparty got penalized for winning its division and reaching the conference title game. Michigan was rewarded for failing to get there. Two other teams (Stanford and Alabama) benefitted in the same fashion.

Yeah, what a great system.

This is the first year I have really hated the BCS system. I guess the fact that OSU was out of the mix allowed me to look at it from a new perspective.

This is also part of the reason that i am not a fan of conference championship games. The loser of the conf game gets shafted more often than not. Michigan State had a tougher schedule than Michigan and beat them by 14 points.

It's been a while since I've been this pessimistic over the Big 10's bowl games. If Wisconsin couldn't contend with TCU's speed last year what the hell are they going to do with Oregon?

I see Illinois and UCLA as a flip of the coin and Purdue had better be able to handle Western Michigan. The rest of the line up looks to me like a recipe for disaster.
