A lot of time in Ohio too, but I don't think it means much. Plus, why would he leave Mizzou for a school in the Pacific NW? Oregon would arguably be the only upgrade, and he's got a good thing going at Mizzou.

For a feather in his cap maybe? If he could go to washington and turn that program around, as a coach thats a pretty good statement for him if he does the same thing in seattle that he did in missouri.

Mizzou got a 5* QB last year, Blane Gabbert. Pinkel is doing a hell of a job with Mizzou's program. Unless someone offers him a huge amount of money or something along those lines. I don't see him leaving.

I know of Blaine Gabbert. And he will still be a young quarterback taking over the offense.

At Washington there is Jake Locker.

Gary Pinkel Arrested for DWI

COLUMBIA - KOMU 8 has confirmed Boone County sheriff deputies arrested MU football coach Gary Pinkel Wednesday night for DWI. Pinkel posted a $500 bond and was released from the Boone County Jail.

Deputies pulled Pinkel over for lane and signal violations on Keene Street near Broadway around 10 p.m. The sheriff's department said this is Pinkel's first offense, and deputies said he was cooperative.

Chief Deputy Tom Reddin said Pinkel's name did not appear on the Boone County Sheriff's Department 0700 report due to a computer glitch.
