The Big 12 did adopt the Big 10 system of instant replay, so I hope they use it, but it was certainly not in the original contract.

Texas always insists on Big 12 or neutral refs in non-conference road games. This one is far enough away yet close enough, that it could be MAC officials, or a Big 12 north crew. I remember using Big East officials when we played at North Carolina. Of course tOSU gets to pick officials when they come to Texas.

I say ABC's HD coverage in general sucks balls and I hope the FCC reams them if they don't comply with the 2008 HD deadline (assuming it's still happening). I remember watching the NBA finals and halfway through the 3rd quarter of Game 7 the HD signal just dropped and I was forced to watch crappy regular TV for the rest of the quarter.

I just don't understand why the networks with the most money don't seem to bother sending HD equipment to the location. And HD-only networks like INHD or HDnet have comparatively no money and can only broadcast MLS or World Series Professional Broom Ball or something like that.

Replay should be used. I think its a great additon to the game. I read an article a few months back saying on average it only added like an average of 3 and a half real time minutes to a game. Its a travesty if they decided not to use it in a game that means so much to so many, but I would be shocked if it wasn't used.

I'm not going to say "easily". That seems a tad absurd. Texas is not SJSU or anything. They have quality talent and plenty of motivation for this game.

Well I am the last person that should say anything about spelling but i think that Texas has only one "s" :wink2:

Also, There are plenty of Horn fans that say that #2 is probably a little high as well, but we'll take it.

Um, Skip Bayless is a fucking waste of oxygen. If he died there wouldn't be a funeral, there would be a parade. I hate that asswipe.

You beat me to it BuckeyeNation... Skip Bayless might very well be the most worthless person on television. That includes every crackpot conspiracy theorist and crazy dillusional "film-maker" on cable access around the U.S. To take stock that you're going to win because Skip Bayless said it only gives ME confidence that we'll win because Skip Bayless can't be right.
