5) Caller asked why OSU tends to punt "down the middle" so much, and not go for the coffin corner. JT responded that no punt returner in the country has experienced fielding a punt in the 'Shoe, where the ball goes 'up and up and up' but never clears the upper deck crowd. Staff wants to see how opposing returners handle fielding punts in the 'Shoe to decide whether to go for a coffin kick or make them try to field another one.

Maybe we should push for everyone to bring a Pigskin brown shirt to the game and wear it when we punt and when Texas has the ball.

If we win the toss, what should we do?? Kick it and play defense first?? Or do we take the ball and try and get an early jump?

Kick off. With the crowd as excited as they will be, come out and stuff them 3 and out (hopefully), and give Teddy a chance to start the tempo off right.

I was talking to my buddy and was saying how awesome it would be if we kicked off.......stuffed them 3 and out, sacking Young once.......then have Teddy Ginn return a punt back to the house, right out of the gate. A man can dream can't he?
