too f'n hard to believe that it is this soon. it is a struggle to get through this week, and we are 40 pt. favorites. still, going to be great.

also, I am not in Texas but rather on the East coast, so my chances of getting Ohio State should be pretty good.
I use Yahoo.com, their Listings tab is pretty helpful. You just select your cable or satellite package, whatever, and then whenever you log into it you can see what's on at what time (like 2 weeks in advance even). They also have a pretty cool setting where you can select only your favorite channels to list, that way it's not so cluttered with your Lifetime and Oxygen channel listings (no offense to anyone who is a die-hard Oxygen fan :wink2:). You could sort the TV listings by Sports too, and it shows all programs in a given time period. Pretty standard, but it's quite helpful when you're planning an entire weekend of football spectating...:)

thanks will check it out, I am just afraid that I will be too drunk by the time the Texas game comes on the tele.......wait, God is that why you invented Tivo?

I am looking forward to watching tOSU this weekend to get more of a feel of what to expect. I think Texas is on FSN. I don't know if that is regional either.

Can someone explain to me why it is too expensive to put all ABC college football in HD, but yet the Little League World Series was in HD? I understand that their is less production cost for a 220' field, but they didn't just broadcast the final in HD, they had some of the other rounds in HD.

hes getting roasted alive for all of those awards. the rivals michigan board is crying their eyes out because they didnt have the best uniforms, its comical actually that they would be crying because of something like that but its true, maybe they should stop worrying about how they look and play some god damn defense for a change.

Tailback 22 Selvin Young | 25 Jamaal Charles OR 30 Henry Melton

hes a tail-back for now, but ive heard that a position change will eventually happen to either fullback or defensive line.
For now he has been given the role of short yardage tailback. Could see him keeping that role and playing D-Line if needed in the future. Should be fun to watch, especially against a team like Lou-Laf.

its gotta be a disadvantage playing against lou laf. we dont play that tough of a team but miami-oh is above average and a much bigger test than your first game, would you texas fans rather go up against a tougher team?
definitely. but I am glad as hell that we are playing you guys before OU this year. While I consider the TX-tOSU game to be huge, I don't the outcome being as big of an impact on our season as the OU game. So I am glad that we have a tough road test before the TX-ou game.

As I have said previously, Mack has been a little bit of a puss in the past when it comes to playing tough nonconference schedules---complaining about having to play Arkansas, cancelling a game at Hawaii, talk of calling off tOSU game--but hopefully he will see the benefits of scheduling a tough opponent and do it more in the future.

The guy needs to realize that despite all the pressure on him, if Texas loses one or two non conference games, but is battle tested, beats OU and wins the Big XII and goes to a BCS game, then his season is more successful than going to a BCS game as an at-large. At least in my eyes, and hopefully other Texas fans' eyes.

I would love to see some tough SEC games scheduled, bring back ND in a few years, etc. These Lou-Laf games have been nothing but a preseason game scrimmage which is also good to some extent, but I would rather have a Miami (OH) or hell this year, a UTEP, than Lou-Laf.
