relax fella's, we've still got 3 weeks until game. No reason to be getting all upset yet. Mili, are you getting in early enought to get over the time diff and jet lag and all that?

As opposed to Charles, who won't even start for Texas, and may not even receive significant playing time this year. If you guys want to say he is Bush-like, feel free. If Charles were a "better running back" than Bush he would be the starter, no questions asked. Unless of course your coach is John Cooper....and since he is, maybe you guys are right:wink2: .

Kinda funny ( not flaming here) . Mack does this all the time. He talks up the other team before the game. He's very politically correct. I know there are horn fans out there that think we can do no wrong (mostly bandwagoners). I'm not one of those, but to say that Young can't drop yards on your defense without O-line assistance is wishful thinking at best. Just like Ginn is a playmaker, Vince is also. He has game speed that is unrivaled by most(just like Ginn).I expect both to do things in this game that make the opposing defenses look silly.I just see alot of talk about the awesome buck defense but you've got to understand....we feel the same way about our team. And...your defense hasn't seen anyone like Young, and ours hasn't seen anyone like Ginn. Should be fun to watch.

just because you could make scUMs defense look like 4th graders doesnt mean you can to ours, if you look at the rose bowl videos it wasnt all about his speed, to me he actually looked like he wasnt moving fast at all just weaving back and forth and following his blocks, if you dont agree then go watch them, it was mostily over pursuit by the 4th graders.

with all the speed on our defense i dont know if there is a player out there that could make them look stupid. mind you, ive seen the '02 defense i know what i am talking about.

ACTUALLY, our defense has seen something like Young - Teddy Ginn, everyday in practice. lol.

Yeah sandgk, Liberal .That's exactly what I said, TWICE. Read the post, don't make it into what it's not.I've seen Charles play all through high school. You haven't. Even an all star game coach who coached Bush and Charles during different years said the same. I'll stick by the statement that Charled IS a better every down RUNNING BACK that Bush. But is BUSH-LIKE in speed and moves.Bush is an all purpose player, Charles is not. Do I have to type this 4 or 5 more times for y'all to stop twisting it ? It's also interesting that you, Findlay know so much about Texas football . I don't think any of us even know who will start at HB for the horns.I still feel Charles will be the starter against yall. JMO :wink2:

Exactly. that's what opposing D's say before they play Texas. Vince's speed is very decieving. He's a big dude--6'5 230lbs. Ted is much smaller than Vince, hence he looks MUCH faster.


Not gonna argue with you on this S-N-G. You seem like a level-headed dude. We'll just have to see what happens on 9/10. I still say he'll make your D look silly on at least a few occasions,and Ginn will likely do things that makes ours look silly.
