"Young has a better completion %, more passing TD's, more TOTAL TD's, etc etc. Most of his INT's were the 1st half of the season when he was recovering from hernia surgery. He actually had a 26/11 TD/INT ratio if you count for ALL of his touchdowns, which is only fair."

oh boy, your kidding right? sorry i dont agree with you on this one.

Come on xray, you're killing me. His 2001 defense led the nation in what?
Total Defense

The problem Reese had was his love of mugging with the linebackers. He had some success with it prior to and during his time at Texas, but against a good offensive line he would essentialy waste our middle linebacker by having them line up against an OG.

Ahh, I was saying OU didn't run the option. I see what you are saying now.

I have been bored. Anyway, I wouldn't trade QB's for yours anyday. Here's the throwing/rushing stats for players on both teams who threw at least 1 pass and will be returning this year.

PASSING

NAME CMP ATT YDS CMP% YDS/A TD INT RAT
Justin Zwick 98 187 1209 52.4 6.47 6 6 110.9
Troy Smith 68 122 896 55.7 7.34 8 3 134.1

RUSHING
NAME CAR YDS YPC LONG TD
Troy Smith 82 339 4.1 46 2
Justin Zwick 39 32 0.8 22 0

Passing

NAME CMP ATT YDS CMP% YDS/A TD INT RAT
Vince Young 148 250 1849 59.2 7.40 12 11 128.4
Ramonce Taylor 1 1 48 100.0 48.00 0 0 503.2
Matt Nordgren 1 1 7 100.0 7.00 0 0 158.8

RUSHING

RECIVING

Ramonce Taylor 3 64 21.3 44 0
Vince Young 1 48 48.0 48 0

Young has a better completion %, more passing TD's, more TOTAL TD's, etc etc. Most of his INT's were the 1st half of the season when he was recovering from hernia surgery. He actually had a 26/11 TD/INT ratio if you count for ALL of his touchdowns, which is only fair.
Not your best effort, hookem. It's not fair to factor his rushing numbers into his passing numbers because, well, they just aren't the same thing. Do you factor a car's braking performance into its acceleration?
Smith had a better passer rating and a better TD/INT ratio. You can't trade your QB for ours, because we don't want him.

He's a DUEL-THEAT QB!!! You can't just disregard his rushing numbers. Did you seriously just say that????

Young had more passing TDs and more total TDs because he played the whole fuckin' season while Smith and Zwick each played half. Smith's rating is higher, and his TD/INT ratio is light-years ahead of Young. As for your statement, "Most of his INT's were the 1st half of the season when he was recovering from hernia surgery", you are totally full of shit. Young had only 2 INTs in the first five games and 8 INTs in the last six games of the regular season (not to mention a pick in the Rose Bowl). Finally, your statement that ALL touchdowns should count in the TD/INT ratio is about the most don't-know-shit-about-football statement I've ever heard in my life. Have some rubies, beyatch.
