Better than: also true

K-State 2003 was definitely better than the Tech team you played but we're better than both. We beat the '03 K-State team and I'd argue we're a lot better than we were in '03.
I don't see how. you have zero passing game to speak of, and our run D is (as always) amazing.

We've flat blasted the last three Big 12 teams we've played, one at home and two in bowl games. The only reason why K-State even made it close at the end was Tressel went into the "safe" mode the entire fourth quarter. Here are the end-of-3rd-quarter scores of those three games:

Ohio State 38, Texas Tech 7 (final 45-21)
Ohio State 35, Kansas State 14 (final 35-28)
Ohio State 30, Oklahoma State 0 (final 33-7)

This game most likely won't be a blow-out, but if there is indeed a blow-out, it won't be Ohio State on the receiving end...

I am tired of all the repetitive redundancy on the 155 page thread. I have to admit, I am almost as excited about the environment, the all day tailgate, the atmosphere of the Shoe, etc. as I am about the game. ALMOST. The game has epic buildup, and could be a let down if one of the two teams doesn't show up, but everyone will be bringing their A game to the tailgate.

What is the word on tOSU fans and their friday night plans, is there a good district, street with lots of bars together, a la Sixth Street in Austin? Or does it take transportation to bar hop? Is C-bus a cab town?

One last thing, on the ticket situation, do you think there will be any Ohio state ticket holders or four tickets that would trade two to this year's game for two to next year's game in Austin? From what I hear, Texas is also restricting tickets to OSU fans to about 4000, and if you guys bring your entire band, that could mean even less ticket availability. Just curious if I should even try to go that route.

How does your run defense make our team worse? I was saying that Texas is better 2005 than 2003. And yes we've covered that you pasted K-State in the Fiesta Bowl. Too bad you're not playing them on September 10th, maybe you'd paste them again.
well....when YOUR offense is going up against OUR defense......yeah, it kind of does make your team worse.

I wasn't arguing that your '03 team was better or worse than your '05 team. I'm arguing your '05 team seems pretty equivalent to KSU's '03 team.

If that was supposed to be an attempt at sarcasm, it failed.
I don't think everyone agrees with you.

Your statement could be applied to the obsession with kansas state in this thread. Sure, it shows that Tressel's a great big game coach, and the big12 hasn't showed up recently. But that game doesn't have anything to do with this game other than a small handful of players.

You guys seem to have forgotten that the only reason OSU even won that game was because Roberson was distracted by his arrest.
Roberson's brother is backup QB at Iowa, diff. last name, not sure if they have the same father, Godfrey. Him and Tate went to high school in Texas.

I hope KState makes a comeback, those teams were pretty hilarious. A bunch of JuCo transfers that couldn't get into any school in the nation, playing creampuff schedules at the beginning, then rolling through early big XII play before falling apart at the end, probably when all the players found out that in real college they have tests called Finals, and that you have to write things down for the exams. The entire CFB nation got on Snyder's back and then they started playing some tougher teams, Cal, USC, Marshall Fres. State. I miss those old hooligans, even though they smacked Texas around a little bitch in 98 and 99. The Big 12 north is ready for a resurgence.
