Maybe you are just stirring the pot with that little jab, but that 105,000 was one of the loudest crowds I had ever experienced, and thank god that they didn't sway and whooooop. I don't think that the crowd had anything to do with the outcome of the game.
honestly it wasnt in the top 5 loudest games ive been at in the shoe. a 8pm kick got everyone pretty sauced. we arent used to that around here.

Kind of interesting since that was a record crowd, we were playing an historically great team for the first time ever, both teams were ranked in the top 5 with national championship expectations, and it was a night game.
i would say that maybe these are the reasons why. a lot of fat cats with dough there.

im not saying it wasnt a good crowd, but certainly 100% for sure not the best ive ever seen...

Additionally, school wasn't in session that week. Typically, students don't begin arriving until the week before the Big-10 opener (OSU's Fall quarter usually starts around the middle of the 3rd week in September), so the student support (the most vocal bunch) was comparitively weak in relation to a Big-10 conference game, not that many students could afford the ticket prices anyway.
