Game Thread Game Two: #1 Ohio State 24, #2 Texas 7 (9/9/06)

I Do ???

It's probably b/c you talk in the title, type things like geezee (which rhymes with wheezy), and carry on a conversation almost by yourself.

geezee I guess I try to have a little fun in here, but now that you have figured me out all i need is a thread where I can talk to myself.

oops Jim you forgot to say something about OSU texas

I can see us cracking 30 points, and if so, Texas is toast. No slam to UT fans, but no way the Longhorns score 30+ points themselves with two totally inexperienced QBs, regardless of surrounding talent.

See even Mili agrees with me eventually!.

When was the last time a brand new quarterback in his 2nd game beat the buckeyes??? when was the last time a brand new qb passed for 300 yards against the buckeyes??? When was the last time a brand new qb led his team to a victory over the buckeyes ?? As far as that goes when was the last time a really good qb beat the buckeyes ?? when was the last time a good running baCK BEAT THE buckeyes???? I know the bucks lost last year but you are saying that a brand new qb and running back will beat the buckeyes? ?? sorry i dont see it happening?? lol who does??? "

Then why did you use this as part of your argument:

That statement had nothing to do with a 50% probability. But rather, the statistics related to something that has already happened is irrelevant to what happens in the future.

For example if the odds of a team going undefeated is 10% a year then the odds of going undefeted in consecutuve years is 1% (0.1 x 0.1). But a team that was undefeated in a previous year that has a 10% chance of going undefeated the following year, has a 10% chance of being undefeated for two straight years.

At this point I am assuming that the persons who don't get these facts never attended a university, at least I hope not.
