Had to do some barbecue and my hosts took me to some place called Salt, or Salts or Salt mine... Salt Lick, turns out there are two locations. I went to the one in town. Locals will tell you to go to the one outside of town. Same great food, but a better view/atmosphere... don't know how the ribs could be better. Hey, I'm 62, so cut me some damn slack here... It's the real thing. You can smell the mosquite and sauce from two blocks away. Slow cooked, pulled pork, falls apart, makes your fingers and face sticky, but ain't that the idea? Wonderful. We do not have ANYTHING like it in Ohio. Puts the Rib King's (a Cincinnati hallmark) to shame. Order another Shiner Bock and enjoy.

Sweet BBQ sauce!

Speaking from experience? Has xrayrandy been the recipient of a Guano Shower?

I came close. There is a colony of about 250,000 bats living under Interstate 35 at McNeil road just north of Austin in Round Rock. One day I was driving under it with the top down on my Aston Martin when the bats started coming out. I floored it and barely escaped the guano bombardment.

From ESPN:
4. Henry Melton, Texas -- RB to DE/RB: This guy is a load at 275 pounds, but at a recent UT scrimmage, he flashed some big-time tools as a tailback with a stunning burst through the hole for such a big guy. That said, Melton looks as though he could be an All-Big 12 D-lineman right now if he went full time on that side of the ball. Justin Blalock, UT's veteran right tackle, described Melton as scary as a pass-rusher because he's such a great combination of power and quickness.
