Oh, and of course after the 3 of them did a 12 minute ND circle jerk, they immediately start trashing other more worthy teams. Rece Davis just said LSU had the "most overrated home field advantage in football".

Actually...wouldn't that belong to a team that, say, lost to Michigan State at home?

I'm not a ND fan - in fact I hate them almost as much as meatchicken, but perhaps a ND fan can explain this to me...

Why would ND want to go to a BCS game knowing that they are completely undeserving and will probably get bitchslapped back into 2005? Do ND fans find this extreme special treatment embarrassing or is it worth it for the $?

Oh, and it's fun to pile on Jax, so it's even worse than that. Let's look at the teams Notre Dame beat with a winning record that are bowl eligible:

Michigan is 7-4 and headed to a 2nd tier bowl (and played that game without Hart), BYU is 6-5 out of the Mountain West playing in the Las Vegas Bowl, and Navy is 6-4 by beating 6 teams with a combined record of....9 and goddam 54! All the rest of the teams they beat are not bowl eligible.

If that doesn't scream toughest schedule in 50 years, I don't know waht does...NOT.

OK, I'll pile on some more and just take out USC's 10 wins from ND's opponents W/L record. What do you get?

43-52 record for their opponents not named USC, lost to 1 of those suck ass teams, damn near lost to a second one and its Oregon or OSU who might not get the BCS bid!!!????

This is the perfect example of whats wrong with college football. It feels like a WWE skit that actually determins something important. What a fucking travesty for whoever gets fucked out of a BCS spot for teams like WVu and ND.

The only sane response to this question would demand an S&M picture worthy of the Romper Room.

Does anyone right now actually hate Notre Dame more than Michigan besides me? I fucking hate Notre Dame! Sorry about the language, I'm just really pissed off at the lovefest between Notre Dame and the media(especially Lou Holtz).

I've always feared too much of being dinged to say it. But i've always hated ND more then any other team. scUM is my 2nd least favorite.

Well just ask them how they felt after the 2000 season when they pulled this bullshit only to go get ass raped by Oregon State 41-9.

in fact look how eerily similar 2000 was to their 2005 campaign

Reality Alert -- Mark May just stopped making sense to me - the world has returned to normalcy.
He is now defending Barnett, saying that Colorado should not fire the coach that was "in charge" of the most scandalous program of the modern game. "In charge" being defined apparently as having fast dial numbers for ten high priced lawyers on your cell phone.
