I cant believe some of you are calling for the mighty Notre Dame Fighting Irish to drop in the polls. They showed tremendous poise and compsure in their win over the mighty Stanford Cardinal AND come on...they almost beat USC!!

FWIW Stanford's NCAA rank's on D:

Run D: 62
Pass D: 103
Total D: 96
Scoring D: 90

They average giving up 30 points and 420 yards a game folks.

Navy put up 38 on them for fuck's sake.

The funny part is their O isn't really that good either and just sliced up the ND "defense" like they were doing an OJ impersonation. 24 ppg is their average.

ND is a fucking joke.

OMG - Lou Holtz is seriously talking him up now! Says their defense is a little weak, but that that their "prolific offense" was just too much.

Now he's talking about how they have a great story - God Holtz is a serious faggot. (And I don't say that word lightly)

Now he's saying that Oregon will get the other bid. He says that they've got a great PR campaign going and that they'll travel better.

Oh wait, it gets better still. Now he's talking about how Cal "got shafted" last year by not getting a BCS bowl game.

Holtz is just a Notre Dame whore because:

A) It's the only place he had any real modicum of success head coaching, and

B) He's trying to get everyone to forget the 3,251 violations Steve Spurrior inherited when his dumb ass left South Carolina
