Game thread: Bama 31, Florida 3 (Final)

Looked horrible.

I wish I could get a clip of that catch he made earlier in the year behind the DBs head. Is that online anywhere?

Alabama looks like a team to beat, but the lose of the WR will be costly as I don't see him coming back anytime soon.

Shula did that shit late in a blowout last year and lost his QB. Some folks just never learn.

Great win for us though, a complete ass kicking ensures we never fall behind a 1 loss UF team and now can root for them or UT in any remaining SEC games.

Damn straight. UF will fall out of the top 10 while we move up to #7...I don't think Tennessee will jump us as they struggled at home with Ole Miss.

Right on - depending on how a few other games fall out, UF should fall to about #20 (but it probably won't happen that way). Tennessee hasn't looked good all year, and really shouldn't be in the top 10.

Alabama looked great today...last time I saw them was with a healthy Brodie Croyle against Oklahoma last year, and they looked good then, too. If they jump ahead of us, I've got no beef with that, so long as the Bucks are the highest ranked one-loss team out there. I have a hard time believing that any SEC team emerges unbeaten this year, but it happened last year, of course. Would be kind of funny if Georgia or Alabama ran the table. I think there would be a bigger push to get an unbeaten Bama or Georgia team into the Rose Bowl than there was a push for Auburn last year.

We should be 6th in both polls, not 7th. LSU and UF should both drop behind us.

Texas and VT should be closing the gap on USC.

UGA and FSU are the weakest undefeateds remaining and therefore most likely upset specials.

All this poll watching is fun and all but its not going to matter for fuck if we lose to PSU. This has been the game I've dreaded all year.

Ga still has at Tennessee, the Cocktail Party at Jax, Auburn, and at Ga Tech. Plus a conference championship game.

Bama has Tennesee, and their last 2 games are LSU and at Auburn. Then an SEC championship game if they get there. If they get by Tennessee, they could have a very high ranking in early November. Losing Prothro is huge, though.

I don't think the SEC will have an undefeated team this year.

edit - Vandy has lost 17-15, when Middle Tennessee St. blocked a FG on the last play of the game.
