Game Thread Game Ten: Ohio State 48, Northwestern 7 (final)

So, while we have a solid 28-7 halftime lead against a ranked team, and ND is tied 7-7 against the Navy team they have a 41-game winning streak against, will the human poll voters wake up and realize that tOSU should be the highest ranked 2-loss team? And since ND's second loss is a home loss against a soon-to-be 5-5 MSU team, while ours was on the road against a top-5 team, we should have already been ranked ahead of them?

I know they won't, but I'm just asking.

The logic of your argument does not escape me.

Will it finally not escape the voters?

I'm not going to hold my breath.

Well, if we paste these guys and walk TSUN, they will have no choice. I think TSUN will be a lot harder to roll than these guys, though.

Let's hope it continues now and the seniors who don't get a lot of playing time get to have some fun.

Then, on to a BCS bowl via Ann Arbor!:osu:

I agree you can have a big play, but its not really worth the risk if you know Troy is gonna pick up good yardage. Grad or others want to comment? If you know a great runner like Troy can get good yardage, would you teach him to hold onto it until they force him to give it up?

I agree with your point so lets not even give him the option to pitch it then.

guys, sorry for the off-topic post, but could you help me out? i'm looking for the espn article about hawk's mom. it discusses her desire to see her son hit hard and to punish the opponents. i can't find it. searching bp has yielded nothing, even though i know that there was a thread devoted to the article. i can find the article by googling it; however, it requires an espn membership.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Then you allow the man responsible for pitch to bring outside force. The option relies on people having to play responsibility. Taking away the pitch option negates that responsibility and, more than likely, the seam.
