that's fair, and some of the time my angle was not the best for judging the space the intermediate routes had (corner angle). You know the gametime assessments are always sharper than reality...
I'm not sure I can agree that he is doing well enough for us to win...I really have doubts based on his recent performance.
I'm not saying yank him, play JZ or TB, but I am saying my confidence in him is not high.
I don't have high confidence in him, but I think he's getting it done.
When Smith would be locked onto one side of the field (with 2 options), they seemed to be covered quite well. I would love to see a TE release late and catch a 5 yarder and turn up field. Maybe Hamby's not the answer, but Stan White seems like he's been serviceable.
Heck, the defenses up now aren't that great, get some mileage out of the bulked-up Roy Hall for once.
very well stated, I agree largely with this.My only gripe today is that I wish we wouldn't wait until the second half to start playing football. We keep spotting the opposition points and then trying to come back. Let's have a sense of urgency at the beginning of the game and get after it.
On the flip side, we outscored them 21-7 in the 2nd half. Way to make the adjustments, coaching staff.
