It would be nice for those here who are pompous enough to think that YSU doesn't belong on the same field as OSU yet think MAC teams like Akron, Kent State, etc., do, to hear just how much they sound like Michigan and Notre Dame fans.

Thank you. I'd like to think that stuff doesn't go on around here. Little windmilling tactics like that can take a normal discussion and turn into a bad scene for everybody.

Look, the way I see it, they'll play asses off and probably put forth an effort that would be enough to beat Northwestern. Only, they wouldn't get geeked for NW and would get beat anyway- they get geeked for the big games. Unfortunately for them, they're playing Ohio State, and we own NW like it's our job. Why? Because we're better.

You call it pompous, I call it the truth.

I've gotta admit, this thread turning ugly is about the last thing I expected.

OSU-ND: Wicked every time
OSU-TX: Great most of the time but xray et. al. made sure there were fireworks.
OSU-USC: Next year's USC thread is going to set the servers on fire. Mark it down.

OSU-YSU: You have GOT to be kidding me.

This has nothing to do with the competitiveness of the game. It has everything to do with the amount of mutual respect that I expected us to have.

And the other 100 stomp a mudhole in their ass, pay them, and send them on their way.

BTW, my mom loves in Youngstown, we worshipped Tress and the Penguins before half of Ohio even knew who they were, and while I'm not the Pens' beat reporter, I know enough about the program to know that they'll be a Sunbelt-quality team when they go 1-A. That's the breaks.
