Game Thread Game One: Ohio State 34, Miami of Ohio 14 (final)

"running my mouth?" if predicting a score that's not in your favor, then rationalizing my thought serves as running one's mouth, i wonder what kind of response i would get if i was really talking trash rather than making conversation. (btw- my understanding is that possibly two other qb's could see playing time so i was simply placing a question mark behind your starters name.)

if miami loses, so what? we're supposed to lose. but if we win, that would be huge for the school and the program so predicting/hoping for a win seems logical, and reasonable, to me.

go redhawks!

Redhawk, we love the fact that you are supporting your team, thats what college football is all about. However, here at BP we have a group of guys that are highly educated about football and you cannot expect to just come here and say redhawks 24 buckeyes 19

"running your mouth" was talking about how you just called our back up, mr. qb to be named. Running your mouth is also used to describe how you just came here and pulled a score and a prediction out of your ass. had you come here with some sort of stat, or something to add to your predictions, then you would get some respect around here. There are many "visiting" fans that come here and contribute very well because when they make a prediction, they have facts and stats to back it up. If you just want to predict a score and say that you're going to win but if you lose its ok "because we aren't supposed to win", then you might want to go to www.bucknuts.com. This site was built on facts and continues to grow with posters to Jax that brings info when he replies. I suggest that you read some more posts around here and learn something before just picking a score.

About ten hours away from the start of an incredible season. Miami has the second best recieving corps we'll see outside of Michigan. I think the Redhawks won't be able to gain any yards on the ground. Miami has a good team but they aren't ready to play against the best playmakers in the nation and the Silver Bulllets. I'm ready for kickoff to roll around and for the Buckeyes to bash the Redhawks back to Oxford.

So, what is all this talk about a game or something

Finally the horribly long offseason is over... I haven't been this excited about the season starting, well since last season, but This season looks like it could be special... Love to shut up all the USC band wagon fans, not to mention the VaTech fans down here....
