I'll bet that Wolfe, gets held under a 100 yards! I'm in!:wink2:

Not to be that guy or whatever, but there are only 46 days until kickoff!!!

You know that feeling, when you have a cool vacation panned for months and then you start to drive to the airport and think to yourself "Holy Crap! This is really about to happen"

Just got that.

The Sisyphus of the MAC is going to roll that boulder back up the mountain again this year with a team loaded with as much talent as anyone in the MAC led by All-America candidates Garrett Wolfe at running back and Doug Free at offensive tackle. There's speed, skill, and enough depth in most spots to overcome a disaster if injuries hit. In other words, there's no reason to shoot for anything lower than a repeat trip to the title game and a shot at winning the conference title.
Relative Strengths: running back, quarterback Relative Weaknesses: defensive line, secondary

Doesn't really have to do with the game, but I figured I'd post it anyways.

P.J. Fleck future getting clearer

Former Northern Illinois and Kaneland star receiver P.J. Fleck might be patrolling the sidelines for the enemy this fall. Fleck had a mid-July deadline to decide if he wanted to become an assistant wide receiver coach for the San Francisco 49ers.

Fleck, who was cut last month by the 49ers, is set to become a graduate assistant coach for Ohio State. The Huskies open the 2006 season on Sept. 2 at Ohio State.

Good for P.J. He'll be learning from one of the best.

With the Buckeye staff hiring former NIU receiver PJ Fleck as a graduate assistant coach; they are taking this game more seriously than any Buck fans posting here. They wouldn't have hired him if NIU wasn't on the schedule and Tressel didn't take the Huskies seriously. Hold on to your nuts Buckeye fans it's going to be a very interesting game!

odd... we didn't hire any of texas' former recievers.. perhaps we don't respect them much? perhaps mr. fleck is simply the right man for the job?
