That's impressiveG-FORCE said:Actually he is in the Top 20. Him never missing an extra point has something to do with it.
Junior Chris Nendick (5-11, 168) is the incumbent here, and he's had a relatively productive collegiate career.
Nendick has converted a school-record 94 consecutive PATs, including 50-for-50 last season, and has 176 career points. He also kicked a school-record 52-yard field goal against Akron in the title game.
For the season, Nendick was 9-for-13 on field goals, going 4-for-4 on kicks inside the 30-yard line.
Actually he is in the Top 20. Him never missing an extra point has something to do with it.
I'm sure it's frightful.G-FORCE said:Did I say it was?
He is a good kicker. I would like to see your kicker try some kicks in Huskie Stadium on a windy late October/November day.
13 kicks is hardly a big enough sample size to judge how good of a kicker he is.Extra points should have zilch to do with it. Alexis Serna missed three in one game in 2004 to cost his team the game, and yet he's one of the best in the country. As for being in the top 20, I counted over 20 kickers that had an accuracy of .800 or better last year...your boy couldn't even hit .700.
13 kicks is hardly a big enough sample size to judge how good of a kicker he is.
For his career he is 25-34 on kicks and 101-101 on XP.
He is a solid kicker, and is only going to get better.
You'd be singing a different tune if he made all of those 13 kicks.13 kicks is hardly a big enough sample size to judge how good of a kicker he is.
