Not sure if I misunderstood you but, Season 1 covered all of the book "A Game of Thrones." It literally ended the same exact way the book ended.

Season 2 will cover "A Clash of Kings", the second book, and so on.

Yeah, I haven't read the books so I don't know where GoT the novel ends. It's just that they named the TV series after just the first novel which threw me off...

Yeah, they're just going with name recognition by using the name of the first novel for the whole series.

Finally watched the last two episodes a couple of days ago. Great show, but now the HBO has gone away. I'm going to have to go the torrent route for both Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones when those two shows pick back up.

You will not be let down. I've been ready for season 2 to begin the day season 1 was over. Can't decide if I want to get HBO for the duration of the season or if I should just torrent all the episodes.

Don't steal the episodes dude, subscribe to HBO and pay for them. If everyone torrented HBO's series they wouldn't make good shows like Game of Thrones and we'd be stuck watching shitty network TV.
