Went on HBO, tried to watch next weeks ep on HBOGO...no luck. TimeWarner isn't signed up for it. Imagine that. :lol:

I just wish shows would have seasons longer than 10 episodes. Both Game of Thrones, Spartacus, and Camelot each had seasons 10 episodes or less. Game of Thrones Season 1 was one long setup for what is bound to be some epic stuff though. But, unlike most shows even the setup story was entertaining.

Yeah, I think most HBO shows after season one run 13 1hr episodes, the same as 26 1/2 eps for broadcast shows.

Regardless, I'm anticipating season two.

Oh me too, without a doubt. I am going to start reading the novels in the meantime. My uncle has been trying to get me hooked on them for years now since he has them all up to this point (the 5th is coming out next month, a 6th is already in the works, and a 7th is planned). I wonder if HBO plans on taking the series further than the Game of Thrones novel. The entire series is A Song of Ice and Fire.

The worst thing about all this...the damn people that read the books.

SPOILER ALERT (TV spoiler, not book spoiler)

No one could keep their damn mouth shut, even when they thought they were not saying anything. Every time this series was mentioned there was the mandatory "don't get too attached to anyone." You might as well just come out and say "main character dies." I knew it was coming. Damn people with their readin n shit.

Yeah, unfortunately I know quite a few ppl that die/rise to power over the course of the story because of others talking. I also know what appears to be the "big secret" in the story :(

IMDB has Gerard Butler listed to play Stannis Baratheon next season. Stannis is the elder younger brother of King Robert, and
the rightful heir to the throne since Roberts death and the fact that Joffrey is not Roberts son.

That would be awesome though...

The IMDB and Butler listing has so far been shown to be a hoax/false casting. It would be awesome, a good choice for another name-brand actor to take prominent role since Sean Bean and Mark Addy are gone now.

Yeah, i've seen it posted on several sites that it is not true but no one has said anything official yet. I don't even know if they've really gone through the casting process for it yet.
