So apparently the scripts for the rest of the season are floating around the interwebs because hbo got hacked. My friend went spoiler and read them. He said he was happy with the rest of the season

EDIT: HBO only seems to care about creating a good show. Build an audience. Then they scrap the budget and rush the ending. The problem they'll have going forward, after Game of Thrones, is the absence of standard bearer drama. Veep and Ballers aren't getting me to re-up.

No. This is on Beinoff and Weiss. They are the ones that decided on 2 more seasons and shortened ones at that. HBO was begging for more. That's why they're on board for all of the spin-offs

I am absolutely not complaining, but some of this season seems more like a typical TV show than before. It is as if the subtext is gone, or that there is no longer a slow build up to anything, though maybe that is necessary or wanted.

What now? She is angry! Let's make her show angry stuff on her face and say it! Etc. Time for a new plot development? Just do it! It happened now!

I'm sure the cast wants to get on with their lives too though. Eight years is a long run for an HBO series. Kit Harrington can't be playing Jon Snow in his late 30s.

Guys... I moved to Germany a couple months ago and should have WiFi in the next week or so. I'm ignoring everything in this thread until then.

If anyone has a scoop on a decent streaming site where I can catch up and join the conversation, please drop me a DM. I can't access HBOGO from here and looking for alternatives.

I mean, you aren't watching '24'. The events aren't occurring in real time. HBO, due to the compressed time frame, is operating under the understanding that the time frames associated for such travel to occur are naturally happening.

i mean Martin can write a 1,200 page book with 90 pages discussing sea turtles and such as the imp slowly sails from volantis. Not really a luxury for a one hour tv show. Once you square yourself with that, the show becomes much more enjoyable.

Download them via BitTorrent? I say this only because I assume Germany lacks the laws we do in the states for downloading "illegally" ???
