Wrong glass, Sir.
If, as I did, you're scrolling upwards and read the second paragraph first, it momentarily takes on a whole different meaning.

I also enjoyed it. Unlike the original series, they have the entire story plotted out but are extremely light on details and have a lot of space to fill in the gaps. The fact that they started so early is a good sign in my opinion; firmly establishing the relationships will make it more compelling and meaningful when shit goes down in the future—and the one key relationship they’re taking the time to set up here wasn’t even in the books (in that they didn’t know each other young and grow up together in the books).House of the Dragon pilot was good, IMHO. Miguel Sapochnik being the man in charge gives me hope.
The c-section scene was a little much but that's a me thing - my wife had severe complications after my son was born that way.
Wow. I’m on board. GoT theme returns for the opening credits, and the show is 100% focused on the politic of houses jockeying for succession. Rhaenyra is a badass. Her flying to Dragonstone beneath the mist on Syrax to call Daemons bluff was amazing.
I believe Jon Snow was actually the offspring of Daenarys’ older brother and Ned Shark’s sister. So Jon hooked up with his aunt, before learning who his parents really were. But she was awful hot, so who could blame him?So you're saying that when Jon Snow (Ned Stark and a Targaryen result), hooked up with Daenarys Targaryen, it coulda been a first cousin thing? (didn't realize who Jon Snow's mother's line came from)......will look at the prequel. PS, read all the books, not impressed, but was very much impressed with the way Hollywood brought to screen. Usually the opposite (for me at least). Books being better than the screen version....
