Personally, I'm a little shocked at the 3 point spread. Maybe I'm still on the high from the Iowa game. I mean seriously, when does any team have a 330 to 13 total yardage lead at halftime and a +400 margin in the third quarter. That's just insane.

Sure, Penn State in undefeated, and sure they have that intimidating Lion's roar, and sure they have the bore-your-opponents-to-sleep uniforms, and sure they have that awesome cheer "We Are........Penn State.....". I'm impressed they remember. But, even with all of these advantages, I'm still am not convinced they are the real deal yet.

Of course, I hope I'm not speaking to soon. This is obviously a series that is dominated by the home team - many times with a blow out. As we all know, the only two games won by the visitors is in 95 and 03 (both Buckeyes teams). And the 03 Buckeye team should have thrashed that PSU team, but held on to a 1 point win.

Also, the night game curse in away games scares me. First, we struggle in 02 against NW with our future star RB crying on the sidelines, then lose the 03 Wisky game, then squeeze out the 1 pointer against PSU, then there's the 04 NW game? SHIT!

Bottom line, I have a short memory. If the Iowa game never happened, I'd be worried. We'd be coming of a loss and then a weak performance against an obviously over-matched opponent in SDS. However, the Iowa game DID happen. So, we hammer them....29-9. And it would have been worse, but Troy throws and INT and fumble twice.
